I hope it is not too late to wish "Selamat Hari Raya".. should be ok, right? I think they celebrate it for a month. So.. although it's a bit late, but still in time.. . But I guess, everyone has gone back to work already.

How I celebrated Raya?

This year my Raya was more eventful. I had two gatherings on the second day of Raya. One with my old friends back in Primary School and another with my university friends.

I got to eat Big Apple Donuts for tea, catching up with friends, took some photos, did some shoppings, ate western meal for dinner (hmm.. can't remember what's the name.. but it is something which I don't normally eat everyday..haha), enjoy the shopping mall's air conditioning and most of all, away from work.. hahaha.. .

I was glad that the traffic was smooth that day, no jams at the Penang Bridge & no jams at the shopping mall too & plenty of parking space. I guess many people went out of town during the long holidays.

Gathering with Primary School Friends

Venue: Big Apple Donuts - Jusco, Bandar Perda (the donuts sell like hot cakes! The queue was so long! You should go & try if you're a donut lover. )

Here's everyone except CK who was taking the picture. There is Li Lian (my cousin), Cheah & girlfriend Nicole & Sue Chin. (If you're curious of the colour, I did some effect on the photo.. hahaha..)

Next is the 3 old friends - Cheah, myself & Sue Chin. And lastly, the 3 friends with their spouse except for Sue. Must ask her to bring her bf next time.
 

I am very happy to be able to meet them after all these years. Hope that we will have future gatherings together again. Ok, Sue & Cheah?

Gathering with Uni Friends

Kok Meng & Shiau Chen with baby Hans were traveling to Penang from KL & we took the opportunity to gather some friends for a simple dinner & chat session. We ate at the Paddington House of Pancake because they have nice long tables and since they do not have many guests, we will be able to sit and chat as long as we want. .

BTW, they have a menu that is so heavy, it reminded me of my heavy wedding album..hahaha.. As I flipped through the menu many many times.. I couldn't make up my mind on what to order.. hahaha.. sometimes, that's the problem when you have too many choices to choose from.. In the end, I chose a western pancake that looked like "capati", which comes with chopped chicken meat in tomato sauce.. can't remember what's the dish name already.. the taste?.. so-so only.. I would not order it a second time though..
