This morning I called up my doctor to postpone the IUI procedure which was scheduled for this month. I have been worrying about the side effects of the IUI and is afraid that it may affect my performances this weekend and next. I have been constantly checking on my calendar and prayed that it won't clash. However, when my period started on Monday, I was dismayed. It clashes on all the important days.. sigh..

On top of that, with an upcoming project deadline on hand, the stress doubles. Besides that, there were a lot of things that did not go as smooth as I've planned which too added up the stress.

The good doctor has advised me to slow down my activities in preparation for the procedure which I had failed to comply. After reflecting my situation and evaluating the stress level I'm in. I've decided to postpone it, so that, I will have a peace of mind and can concentrate on my work and also to have better preparation for my important performances in November.

After the Yallah hafla, I will reduce all my activities in belly dancing and work, in hope to reduce my stress level. I will still be teaching class as I see that as reducing stress.. hahaha.. but I will have to stop all workshops and performances for the time being.

I hope I will be able to blog about some good news in December after the procedure. Wish me luck!
